Network Based System Analyst

Node-Digital is seeking a Network-Based System Analyst to provide remote and onsite advanced technical assistance, proactive hunting, and rapid incident response utilizing host-based, network-based, and cloud-based cybersecurity analysis. The analyst will monitor network activity, identify malicious behavior, and recommend security best practices. The role requires a high level of security clearance.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• DHS Suitability
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in network investigations
• In-depth knowledge of CND policies and procedures
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
• In-depth knowledge of standard protocols (ICMP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSH, SMTP, SMB, NFS)
• In-depth knowledge of Wifi networking
• In-depth knowledge of network topologies (DMZ, WAN's, etc.)
• Substantial knowledge of Splunk (or other SIEM’s)
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK
• Knowledge of Computer Network Defense policies
• Experience with reconstructing a malicious attack or activity
• Experience examining network topologies
• Ability to work collaboratively
