Job Description
Nomura is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Powai operations team, which supports Nomura's global business. The role involves backend development with Python, Java, and microservices architecture. Knowledge of cloud platforms, container orchestration, and AI/ML concepts is desired.
Requirements
- Strong Python development experience
- Java development experience in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
- API design and development (REST, GraphQL)
- Database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Docker, Kubernetes experience
- CI/CD experience
- Full Stack capabilities (JavaScript/React, Git, Agile)
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts
