Senior Associate or Vice President, Real Estate and ABS Solutions

Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning approximately 30 countries and regions. We are seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join our Global Markets Division in London, UK. The role will involve underwriting, structuring, and executing structured financings backed or secured by real estate, with a focus on value-add CRE and development in select asset classes.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years or equivalent of Real Estate Structured Finance underwriting experience in an investment bank or a buy-side outfit.
• Strong understanding of real estate / mortgage backed loans essential; relevant experience in Real Estate lending teams desirable
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in RE-backed credit structuring, and comfort with loans documentation
• Strong quantitative and technical abilities including financial modelling and excellent attention to detail.
• Proven project management, analytical and credit skills. Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage a workload spanning across execution, asset management, and origination increasingly over time
