Job Description
Noom is seeking a Database Administrator to lead the design, performance, and scalability of their data infrastructure. This role involves owning and maintaining PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB instances, optimizing query performance, and ensuring reliable, secure systems. The company focuses on building durable, long-lasting habits for users through personalized medication and behavior change techniques.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL in production environments
- Expertise with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)
- Strong skills in SQL performance tuning and execution plan analysis
- Experience with schema migration tools and CI/CD integration
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch
