Job Description
NORR is looking for a Technical Architect to join their team. The role involves applying technical detailing and material technologies to develop design solutions and collaborating with other professional disciplines. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of project work experience and proficiency in architectural design software.
Requirements
- Develops technical designs and edits architectural drawings
- Performs design activities such as programming, code research, and material research
- Evaluates site conditions and performs site surveys
- Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings
- Processes permit response letters and coordinates revisions with engineers and consultants
- Coordinates with contractor, sub-consultants, or relevant building authorities
- Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes
