Job Description
Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Welder I for a 2nd shift position at their facilities in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The company specializes in indoor air quality solutions and values employee quality, customer experience and operational excellence. This role will focus on welding metal components to fabricate or repair products to AWS specifications, with a commitment to safety and a 401(k) plan.
Requirements
- Welding metal components to fabricate or repair products
- Welding GMAW, GTAW, Arc Stud Welding, and Resistance Welding
- Performing cuts using oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, or cutting discs
- Wearing protective gear and equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
- Proficiency in lean practices (preferred)
