Job Description
The Converting Operator is responsible for operating slitting equipment to process large material rolls into smaller, part-specific rolls in support of production needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience operating industrial machinery, converting equipment, or slitting machines
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with material handling, inventory transactions, or production reporting
- Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic measurements
- Willingness to be trained and learn new equipment and processes
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
