Job Description
The Flight Instructor position at North Star Aviation involves providing excellent flight instruction and mentorship to students. Instructors are responsible for upholding safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate student records, as well as ensuring student progress toward flight completion deadlines. Requirements
- Must hold a 1st or 2nd class medical with valid commercial pilot privileges
- Must have CFI, CFI-I, and MEI ratings
- Able to meet the Aviation English Language Standard (AELS) as outlined by the FAA
- Minimum 200 hours of dual given
- Must hold at least an 80% pass rate on certificate granting exams
- Strong consideration given to candidates with prior PA28-181/PA44-180 or equivalent aircraft experience, G1000 or TAA aircraft experience, and a 141 environment
