Job Description
North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Mechanic's Assistant to support the maintenance and renewal of wastewater facilities and associated systems. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Wastewater Mechanics and other Mechanic's Assistants to ensure optimal asset efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Work collaboratively with Wastewater Mechanics and other Mechanic's Assistants
- Evaluate equipment performance and ensure compliant and efficient operations
- Perform routine maintenance and repair to existing machinery and equipment
- Perform rough carpentry, painting, plumbing, welding, and additional mechanical duties as required
- Notify appropriate personnel of needed repairs and renewal
