Academic Coach – Learning Center (Pocono)

Academic Coaches meet with students on a one-on-one basis to help each student achieve success in college. They also facilitate group workshops, collaborate with faculty and staff, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Requirements

• Earned bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred)
• Previous experience in academic coaching, academic advising, tutoring, teaching, counseling, or another area related to supporting student success
• Knowledge of common challenges encountered by community college students, student learning and development, and strengths-based advising preferred
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine desire to help others learn, achieve success, and reach goals
