Postdoctoral Research Associate

The Data-Driven Renewables Research (D2R2) group at Northeastern University is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to work on computational materials discovery for renewable energy applications.

Requirements

• Strong background in ab-initio calculations of materials (density functional theory) and high-performance computing.
• Additional background in renewable energy, surface science, catalysis, and/or machine learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python and some exposure to machine learning.
• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent publication track-record and basic experience with grant writing.
