Job Description
The Electrophysiology Physician Assistant will support the supervising physician in patient care, coordination of care, and education. They will assist in EP procedures, including patient care, diagnostic testing, and preparation for procedures. This role contributes to quality, efficient, continuous and cost-effective patient care in Northern Arizona Healthcare.
Requirements
- Collaborate with the supervising physician.
- Coordinate care with interventional cardiology providers.
- Obtain and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Provide direct patient care.
- Complete documentation of all consultations.
- Order referrals and diagnostic testing.
- Perform procedures, including central venous access, injections, and suturing.
- Participate in EP procedures and surgeries
- Assist in EP procedures
