Job Description
The Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT applies fundamental techniques of respiratory therapy to patients in a variety of health care settings, performing basic respiratory care procedures on newborns, pediatrics and adults. The RRT meets with patients, diagnoses ailments, designs treatment plans and conducts tests to assess lung capacity and gas levels.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program
- Licensed by the Arizona Board of Respiratory Care Examiners
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NRP within 90 days from date of hire and/or providing care in special care nursery
- One year of experience
