The Patient Care Technician provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
- Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
