Conducts activities to provide a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors, and employees, and interfaces with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.
Requirements
- Six (6) months Hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation
- One (1) year of college may be substituted
- Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures
- Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills
- Must either possess Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successfully complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment
- Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire
- Current/Valid Driver’s License (new GA residents must obtain valid GA Driver’s License within 90 days of hire)
