Job Description
The Staff RN-Lactation Consultant is a licensed professional nurse who plans and provides nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience as a registered professional nurse and a BSN degree. The nurse will manage care of an assigned group of patients using the Northside Nursing Collaborative Care Model.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- One (1) year experience in lactation.
- National Certification in Specialty (IBCLC).
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
