Job Description
NorthStar is seeking an experienced Leave of Absence Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and administration of time-away-from-work and leave programs. The role requires managing leave lifecycle, ensuring compliance, delivering customer service, and monitoring vendor performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in human resources, benefits administration, or direct support of leave of absence and disability programs
- Experience managing and auditing third-party vendors
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong project and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
