Job Description
Northstrat is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their new project focused on greenfield development. This role involves architecting and implementing technical solutions using modern software development practices, mentoring junior developers, and writing code adhering to high quality standards. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of delivering high-quality solutions with a collaborative team.
Requirements
- Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related experience
- Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience
- Strong Java skills, including JEE and REST web services
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres
- Proficiency in Java microservice application and interface design
- Understanding of Agile practices
- Current Security+ certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with Linux development
- Understanding of Java Instrumentation and Performance Monitoring
- Knowledge of Java and Web development
