Part-Time Faculty, Clinical Nursing

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) seeks part-time faculty to teach in the Clinical Nursing program. Part-time faculty are regarded as full-time professionals who happen to teach part-time. Responsibilities include instruction of assigned classes, labs, or clinicals, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Maintain clinical and educational competencies relevant to instructional areas
• Ensure safe faculty-to-student ratios in clinical settings
• Support and implement the Nursing Program's philosophy, curriculum, and goals
• Plan, coordinate, and sustain effective clinical learning environments
• Foster critical thinking and meaningful learning experiences
• Evaluate student performance using approved methods
• Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, and committees
• Advise and support nursing students while upholding high standards of practice
• Comply with professional dress code and perform additional duties as assigned
