Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant provides patient care under the direction of a licensed medical provider, assisting with examinations, treatments, and vital signs monitoring. Duties include patient preparation, record keeping, basic first aid, and patient ambulation. The role involves assisting with administrative tasks, patient education, and ensuring compliance with facility safety standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program.
• Current Mississippi RN licensure is required.
• BLS & ACLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is preferred
• Must be able to see with corrective eye wear.
• Must be able to hear clearly with assistance
