Job Description
Northwood is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain their observability infrastructure. This role involves building, monitoring, and logging systems for the global space communications network, contributing to system reliability improvements, and supporting development teams. The position offers significant growth opportunities within a fast-paced startup environment and collaboration with experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Build and maintain observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, ArgoCD)
- Help build and maintain cloud infrastructure (Terraform on AWS)
- Work with senior engineers to establish monitoring strategies
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams on performance monitoring
- Implement performance monitoring and troubleshooting across microservices
- Assist in incident response and post-incident reviews
