Job Description
This Quality Manager role at NOV Fiberglass Systems involves defining and assigning tasks to QA/QC personnel, preparing and submitting reports, overseeing document control, conducting audits, and collaborating with plant and production teams. The position also requires managing Change, Risk Assessments and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Define responsibilities and assign tasks to QA/QC personnel.
- Prepare and submit quality status and management review reports to the Director of Quality.
- Oversee document control activities to maintain compliance.
- Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
- Analyze and interpret data to ensure product quality and process improvement.
- Operate measurement tools such as scales, OD tape, rulers, and thread height gauges.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced, team-oriented work setting.
- Follow technical repair and assembly guidelines as needed.
