Job Description
We are seeking a Manual OD Grinder to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual OD grinding machines to produce precision components to exact specifications.
Requirements
- Set up and operate manual OD grinding machines
- Select appropriate grinding wheels and adjust machine settings
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Use precision measuring instruments
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality control staff
