Job Description
New Tech Global is currently seeking Welders for a client in Duncan, OK. The successful candidate will determine the most appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements, set up components for welding according to specifications, and inspect and test welds to determine whether the weld is of suitable quality for its intended application.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 1-3 years of related welding experience and/or training
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding
- Manufacturing or experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass pulmonary Function and Respiratory Function Tests
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Ability to use and read welding measuring devices
