Job Description
NTT DATA is seeking a Databricks Engineer to join our team in Remote, Karnātaka, India. The successful candidate will have experience in Data Engineering/Big Data, with a strong focus on Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python. They will be responsible for developing Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows, and collaborating with Snowflake and dbt teams.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Data Engineering / Big Data
- 2+ years of experience on Databricks (Azure preferred)
- Strong skills in PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python in a Databricks context
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and lakehouse concepts
- Good understanding of Azure services: ADLS, ADF/Synapse pipelines, Key Vault, Functions/Logic Apps (nice to have)
- Experience migrating or re-platforming from legacy DW/MPP systems to Databricks is a plus
- Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and Informatica is advantageous
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
