Job Description
Nuclera is a venture-backed biotech company seeking a motivated Research Assistant/Scientist to join their Protein Science team. The role involves developing and optimizing protein expression, purification, and characterization workflows using the eProtein Discovery™ benchtop system. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- BS/MSc in protein biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related area
- 2-4 years’ industry experience (BS) or 1 year’s experience (MSc)
- Experience with PCR, molecular cloning, and agarose gel electrophoresis
- Experience with SDS-PAGE and protein quantification
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated and team player
