Job Description
This is a hybrid position where the candidate must reside in the area in order to report to the office as needed. The position involves applying payments to customer invoices/accounts, reconciling cash receipts, and communicating with customers.
Requirements
- Apply payments (wires, checks, ACH, credit card) to customer invoices/accounts and reconcile cash receipts.
- Post deductions using appropriate system codes.
- Communicate with customers to obtain remit information.
- Assist in reconciling customer accounts.
- Distribute unapplied cash documentation to the Billing or Collections teams.
- Collaborate with Collections and Billing teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Update account activity logs as needed.
- Support ad hoc requests or projects as required.
