Community Instructor I

Nuvance Health is seeking a Community Instructor I to educate community members in basic layperson-level community health training programs. This role involves in-person instruction, class management, classroom setup, and supporting community events. Instructors will adapt to diverse needs and maintain a positive, customer-focused environment. A commitment to ADA compliance is expected.

Requirements

• Provide in-person instruction for CPR, First Aid, Child Safety, Mental Health, and Basic Life Support
• Conduct educational activities in accordance with curriculum and institutional regulations
• Travel to various locations for training and support
• Maintain organization of supplies and equipment
• Train new staff as needed
• Represent Nuvance Health at events
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills
• Eligible to obtain Instructor certification within 6 days of hire
• Clean driving record
• Maintain a clean driving record
