Paramedic Full Time D/E

The Paramedic Full-Time D/E position at Norwalk Hospital involves providing basic and advanced life support care to patients in the prehospital and emergency department settings. This role requires strong clinical skills, patient interaction, and emergency medical decision-making. It also includes being available for incident command and attending CME/PCE.

Requirements

• Maintain less than 2 minute activation time when ambulance is available.
• Perform a thorough and timely history and physical exam.
• Implement patient care plan according to service guidelines and medical direction.
• Attends required CME/PCE and is current with CME hours.
• Maintain Paramedic License at all times.
• Maintain CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications at all times.
