Patient Financial Services Reimbursement Specialist I

Nuvance Health is seeking a Patient Financial Services Reimbursement Specialist I to coordinate and monitor all aspects of Patient Financial Services, including billing compliance and accounts receivable functions. This role involves processing claims, managing denials, and following up with patients and payers, ensuring optimal reimbursement for providers. The position reports to the Manager of Patient Accounting and Med Practic.

Requirements

• Accurately processes claims, payments, rejections, refunds, credit balances and unapplied cash on a daily basis.
• Responds to all patient and payer inquiries.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures related to federal, state and department compliance.
• Maintains contract management reporting.
