Job Description
This entry-level Pharmacy Technician position at Nuvance Health, a division of Northern Dutchess Hospital, assists pharmacists in dispensing, delivering, and storing medications and supplies. The role involves ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective service within the hospital environment, with support for inpatient and outpatient services. The position is designed for national certification and may transition to Pharm Tech 2.
Requirements
- Handles and pulls medications as instructed by the pharmacist.
- Maintains inventory and adheres to state and federal regulations.
- Performs clerical duties and data entry.
- Troubleshoots technical issues with automated dispensing cabinets (ADC).
