Job Description
This registered dietitian position involves providing appropriate nutrition care to all life stages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. They will perform nutritional assessments, calculate requirements, make recommendations on food/drug interactions, and participate in community nutrition programs. The role requires coordination with the health care team.
Requirements
- RD License Required
- NYS CDN required or obtained within 6 months of hire
- 4 Year Degree preferred, B.S./B.A. in Dietetics preferred
- 3 years experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Working Conditions: Manual, Little or no potential for occupational risk
