Fabrication Operator

Join nVent as a Fabrication Operator to set up, tend, and maintain fabricating machines that cut, shape, and bend metal plates and sheets. Perform daily and weekly machine maintenance, operate material handling equipment, and create a work environment that is enjoyable and customer-focused.

Requirements

• Read shop work orders to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Understand bend allowances, thickness tolerances, and machine tonnage requirements
• Perform minor daily and weekly machine maintenance
• Operate all material handling equipment
• Rivet and spot weld work pieces
