Material Handler - 1st Shift

Join nVent as a Material Handler to advance our success and your own by working in a dynamic and innovative environment. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, and delivering materials to ensure the delight of internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and promptly alert the Supervisor or suitable contact about any unsafe situations or potential safety risks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Notify the Team Leader or other appropriate resource when issues arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
• Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to ensure the delight of internal and external customers.
• Maintain equipment, including safety checks.
• Ensure a continuous supply of equipment and materials necessary to complete operations.
• Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
• Ensure that products meet nVent’s quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
• Perform rotational assignments as needed.
• Actively participate as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
