Postdoctoral Research Associate - Computational Fluid Dynamics

The Multiscale Methods and Dynamics (MMD) Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Computational Fluid Dynamics. The position requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary research environment and participation in the development and analysis of new computational methodologies for scientific problems.

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, or a related field
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Mathematical methods for computational fluid dynamics (CFD), Finite elements methods, Modern machine learning software tools and frameworks, Implementation of scalable numerical algorithms on HPC architectures
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
