Senior Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research Scientist

As a Senior Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research Scientist, you will support the Cyber Resilience and Intelligence Division (CRID) in the National Security Sciences Directorate at ORNL, providing technical insights for program and project developments, leading teams, and performing research & development.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• 6 years' experience in government service or private industry
• Research experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science and analytics
• Leadership experience in artificial intelligence / machine learning for cybersecurity, signal processing, biometrics, digital forensics, and/or computer vision for national security applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment
