Job Description
The Pre-Op/PACU Clinical Coordinator position at OakBend Medical Center provides care of patients within the Pre-Op/PACU Department. This role assumes clinical responsibility, including providing teaching, clinical supervision, and evaluating other personnel, alongside core nursing duties. The position focuses on supporting the surgical team with directing and supervising other nurses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 3 years of recent clinical experience
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse
- American Heart Association BLS required
- American Heart Association ACLS, TNCC or equivalent within 6 months
- Proven coordination experience preferred
- Proficiency in 5 surgical specialties or PACU or Endoscopy preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in a minimum of 5 surgical specialties or PACU or Endoscopy preferred
- Prior coordinating experience preferred
