Co-Op

Oberg Industries is seeking a Co-Op to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing department. They are a local, family-owned company providing tooling and machining services to a variety of companies. The Co-op offers an opportunity to shadow and learn from experienced employees and participate in on-site training.

Requirements

• Possess knowledge of basic math skills
• Ability to communicate through written, verbal, or other means of communication
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to wear personal protection equipment (earplugs, safety glasses, respirator, safety shoes)
• Must be able to work in a standing, sitting, or bending position.
• U.S. citizenship or ability to comply with U.S. export regulations
• Ability to lift a maximum of 35 pounds
• Ability to raise arms above shoulders.
• Dexterity for extended periods
