Maintenance Engineer

Ocado Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide first response to engineering fault conditions, both reactive and planned maintenance, and to participate in continuous improvement projects within their automated Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC). The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, repair, and data analysis, with travel to North America or UK during training. The company specializes in online grocery and related businesses, and offers a globally scalable, multi-million dollar fulfillment operation.

Requirements

• An Associate's or Vocational degree in an electrical or mechanical related discipline or advanced training with a minimum of three years experience.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in the mechanical or electrical field.
• Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance, including predictive and preventive planned maintenance.
• Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns, resolving issues, and handling repairs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to impart knowledge effectively to others.
• Good organization skills; able to prioritize.
• Comfort working at height.
• Good technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
• Sound analytical skills with an eye for detail; good problem-solving ability and a practical approach.
• Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Numerate and PC literate, including G-Suite and MS Office programs.
