Job Description
The Financial Consultant in Ocean Financial Services will build and maintain client relationships, develop personalized financial plans, and deliver investment strategies. This role focuses on understanding client needs, managing client portfolios, and ensuring regulatory compliance. It is part of a hybrid role within a subsidiary of Ocean Bank.
Requirements
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with clients through consistent communication.
- Create customized financial plans covering investments, retirement, education, insurance, and estate planning.
- Conduct periodic reviews to adjust strategies based on changing client needs and market conditions.
- Understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment time horizon.
- Assess clients’ financial situations, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and goals.
- Drive business growth through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and stay current on regulatory changes.
- Perform due diligence on the BSA/KYC write-ups and profile; conduct customer interviews
- Continuously expand product knowledge and stay informed on market trends and investment opportunities.
