Job Description
Octopus is looking for a Backend Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating web service backends using Python/Django, a strong understanding of the Python ecosystem, and the ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software. The role involves working on a greenfield project in the renewable generation & financial space, and the opportunity to make a huge impact and influence how the backend grows to meet new challenges.
Requirements
- Experience in creating web service backends using Python/Django
- Strong understanding of the Python ecosystem
- Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software
- Knowledge of GraphQL APIs is a plus
- Experience of developing software in a regulated industry is a plus
