Job Description
Octopus Energy Generation (OEGEN) is seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Asset Manager to drive best practice and ensure successful delivery of a 1GW project. This role involves overseeing project lifecycle from due diligence to handover, working with cross-functional teams and partners, and championing safety, sustainability, and operational excellence across projects like wind, solar, and storage facilities. The company is a top investor in renewable energy and has been rapidly growing, aiming to establish a leading position in the industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management within renewable energy (wind, solar, or storage)
- Degree or professional qualification in engineering (electrical, civil, or mechanical)
- Strong knowledge of EPC delivery, contractual frameworks, and project finance interfaces
- Deep understanding of HSE regulations, CDM, ESG requirements, and risk management in construction.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, Gantt charts, technical specifications, and complex contractual documentation
- Excellent communication skills
