Private Credit/M&A Reporter

Octus is seeking highly motivated reporters to join us in covering leveraged finance, private credit and M&A activity. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new coverage model while working in an exciting collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Experience writing about M&A, debt capital markets, and specifically leveraged finance and LBOs
• Experience writing about deal valuations, credit quality and its intersection with private equity and LP formation
• Excellent interpersonal skills; self motivated; ability to multitask and work in a fast paced newsroom environment
• Scoop driven reporter with a stable of reliable sources in the investment banking, fund and asset management industries
