Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification by a nationally recognized body (ASCP preferred)
- Knowledge of commonly collecting devices, anatomy concepts, best practice collections, and disinfection procedures
- Ability to work independently and maintain Worklist & keep up with order timeline
