Senior Underwriter, Surety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surety Underwriter in the Surety division to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 5-15 years of Contract Surety underwriting experience, possessing a deep understanding of all aspects of underwriting.

Requirements

• 5-15 years of Contract Surety underwriting experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret business and personal financial statements, WIP reports, and assess the creditworthiness of businesses in multiple industries
• Existing Surety agent relationships
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with agents, clients, and colleagues at all levels
• Willingness to travel frequently to meet with agents and forge strong professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
