Requirements

• Perform and document preanesthestic assessment and evaluation
• Provide general, regional, local and sedation coverage
• Select, obtain and administer anesthetics and other drugs
• Facilitate emergency and recovery from anesthesia
• Provide postanesthesia care
• Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities
• Respond to emergency situations
• Provide on call coverage as required by the department
