Working Student AI Engineering / LLM Prototyping

As a Working Student AI Engineering / LLM Prototyping, you will help OKAPI:Orbits explore how modern AI can improve their products and internal processes. You will work with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and other tools to build functional MVPs and prototypes.

Requirements

• Build functional MVPs for AI based features or tools
• Develop RAG pipelines and test different chunking, indexing and retrieval approaches
• Work with vector databases, embeddings and metadata filtering
• Design and test AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph or API based frameworks
• Evaluate different LLMs for quality, speed and cost depending on the use case
• Integrate prototypes with internal APIs, tools or datasets
• Present your results, document what worked and what did not, and propose next steps
