Job Description
Okta is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and develop internal automation tools and infrastructure. The role will focus on building scalable systems, integrating GenAI and automation, and ensuring enterprise-level performance and security. This is an IC role for a systemic thinker who thrives on design, problem-solving, and building with purpose.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and API integrations
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and interest in using LLMs, NLP, or automation tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Curiosity and desire to learn
- Experience with Python or Go
