Ombudsman Educational Services is seeking a School Counselor to join their award-winning Alternative Education team. The School Counselor will help High School students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally through individual and group counseling and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in educational counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work or a closely related field of study.
• Minimum 2yrs prior experience working with children with learning disabilities, emotional disturbance and/or challenging behaviors in an education setting.
• Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a special education instruction credential preferred.
