Medical Equipment Technician (Sarasota, FL)

OMI MedTech is a subsidiary of Omega Medical Imaging that provides medical equipment service options in healthcare facilities throughout Florida. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will perform scheduled maintenance, build a knowledge base of medical devices, and provide services such as electrical systems checks and calibration and repair of medical devices.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field
• United States Military Biomedical Equipment Service training
• Technical certificate from accredited institution for Biomedical Equipment Service, electronics, or other related field
• One to three years of direct medical device service experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use hand tools and test equipment
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology and medical terminology
